After many months of receiving and cancelling subscription boxes I thought it was time to start a more to the point blog than many of the ones I read before signing up for multiple bad boxes in a row. But through the bad ones a few excellent ones have surfaced. Stay tuned and I’ll get to those.
Now don’t get me wrong – I’m not bashing the other bloggers at all, I’m just saying that my box reviews will not be all sunshine and butterflies. You see, I work hard for my money. When I buy something, I expect there to be value in exchange.
A few things you need to know about me:
- I am a business owner – so my work days are never 9-5
- I am not gluten free, vegan, vegetarian or anything else that can be summed up in a box
- I am a widow and have three teenage boys, so am really beyond being shocked by anything
- I am trained in and have worked as a professional make up artist
- I love to travel and try new things and I will publish reviews on travel as well but I don’t get to do that every month
- I love colour. The colour purple is my favourite, but I love anything bright and colourful except the neons of the 80’s
- I have (who owns whom remains up for debate) a three year old chihuahua named Harley
